Birth Doula — $1400

Hiring a birth doula is an important step in your journey to becoming a parent. My style of doula is to meet you where you are and support you. I have been told that I give a very motherly persona- so you can expect to be well taken care of and nurtured! I like to build our relationship in the prenatal season with 1-3 prenatal visits depending on your needs. This allows me to get to know you more, understand more about your needs in birth and how to best support your family during the transition to parenthood. Starting at 37 weeks, I will go on-call for you until you birth your baby. During labor- I join you when you are ready for support and will stay up to 2 hours into the postpartum period. I conclude our time together with 2 postpartum visits to check in on feeding journey’s, healing, moods, transitions and supplying any resources your family may be in need of!

A birth doula helps with many things- from helping you find a provider/birthing location that matches your needs, to helping you find the resources you need to be able to make fully educated informed decisions. Doulas are great at helping determine when is a good time to head to your birthing location, Helping you get settled into your birthing location, assisting your support people in finding their zone while supporting you, positional changes to help baby into the pelvis and comfort techniques to make labor more manageable.
